The Space Hardware Verification and Satellite Integration Engineer (hereafter abbreviated as “SHVSIE”) is a role for a versatile and hands-on electronics engineer, requested to take ownership of the electrical and functional verification, qualification testing and customer satellite integration of the Spaceopal innovative, state-of-the-art, real-time, onboard Orbit Determination and Time Synchronisation product for LEO satellites.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how the product is tested, qualified and integrated into different satellite platforms. The role spans laboratory verification, GNSS RF simulation, environmental test campaigns and direct technical support to customers during accommodation and AIT/AIV.
Indeed, the role requires to collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with the Hardware Design and Industrialisation Engineer, system engineering, firmware and product assurance: within this wide framework, the SHVSIE will build the evidence that the product meets its requirements and is ready for customer missions and recurring production, having the opportunity to work directly with electronics, laboratory, equipment and multidisciplinary satellite interfaces.
