Tasks and Responsibilities:

The local Security Officer is responsible for:
  • Proper implementation of security related decisions and for coordination of available security resources and measures within the company involved in classified parts of contracts and projects, as well as to be the technical advisor to management on security matters
  • Physical security and safety of employees, facilities and assets
  • Executive responsibility for the organisation's entire security posture, both physical and digital media. This includes also closely participation in related areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention and fraud prevention, and privacy.
  • Overall direction of all security functions associated with Information Technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services within the enterprise as well as awareness of the implications of legislated requirements that impact security for the company
  • Interface to government bodies such as BMWi, BSI, BMVi, BLfV for security related matters
 
The Spaceopal Security Registrar is in charge of managing the logging and distribution of classified information and classified items. He/She coordinates administrative functions with the  security registries of the customer as well as the contractors. 
He/She has to account classified information w.r.t. the national and international applicable rules and legal provisions, including classified items check-in/check-out, verification of classification marking, company and project internal distribution control, electronic accounting, safeguarding, storage, duplication, destruction and transmission of classified information and items.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Commercial Engineering, Economics, Engineering), completed commercial education and work experience in accounting, discretion and confidentiality or similar working experience
  • Very good analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong attitude to team work, great communicator internally and externally, even in demanding situations
  • Hands-on mentality and systematic, self-organized, able to prioritize way of working
 
The job requires also:
  • Excellent written and spoken German, best native speaker
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Fluency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.)
  • Personal ability to enforce security regulations and requirements of protection of the Constitution
Desired qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge in information technology
  • Mental resilience, especially in stressful situations

Work location:

Spaceopal Headquarter (Munich, Germany) and GCC-D (Oberpfaffenhofen, Munich, Germany)
 
It could be necessary to participate to meetings in the above locations and in other relevant project locations in Europe.
