Document Controller Team Lead (m/f/d) | Munich, Germany

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all Document Control related activities and ensure the team is implementing the applicable procedures
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures related to documentation management
  • Define and update the Document Control System (DC internal procedures, processes, requirements for dedicated tools/applications) for the projects
  • Define and update the training material for the team
  • Train new team members, monitor and supervise the related task execution 
  • Receive, store, distribute and trace all documentation deliveries from / to external/internal parties including classified documents up to RUE/EUR by facilitating defined tools
  • Perform quality checks and support updates/adjust documentation to meet PA and customer documentation management rules/requirements
  • Trigger corrections/updates in case of issues
  • Follow-up / sort-out problems related to documentation deliveries
  • Maintain delivery records and support all kind of reporting needs related to documentation delivery and status of unclassified and classified documentation (up to RUE/EUR), by facilitating defined tools
  • Monitor the status of documentation/deliveries within centralized tools, providing dedicated reports on request
  • Preparing data packs to meet delivery milestones
  • Support customer enquiries and provide status and reporting
  • Verify consistency and integrity with former deliveries to the customer
  • Support the dissolving of issues/problems related to the document management and underlying data records
  • Perform regular checks on centralized tool/database
  • Support audits at Spaceopal / subcontractor level related to the documentation status / integrity
  • Definition and monitor of KPI for Subcontractor’s Documentation Office

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Appropriate high school degree
  • English fluent plus one additional language (preferably German or Italian)
  • Used to work target oriented, good organisational skills (time management, efficiency, dealing with parallel issues, work under stress etc.)
  • Commitment and conscientiousness, customer orientation, good communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in documentation management in large space and/or telecommunication programs, experience in ESA/EUSPA programs would be a plus
  • Experienced in using office tools (WORD, EXCEL etc.)
  • Experiences related to standardisation and quality reviews on documentation products
  • Good understanding of a technical infrastructure and its related assets

Work location:

Spaceopal Headquarter (Munich, Germany)
 
It could be necessary to participate sporadically to meetings at European locations.
